Aaron Knight is seeking an artists assistant. The goal of the artist’s assistant is to allow the artist to maximize time spent making art. This means you will be performing administrative tasks and other aspects of running an art studio that do not require direct involvement from the artist.
Duties include:
- Coordinating with on-camera talent
- Model recruitment and outreach
- Studio and set preparation
- Recharging equipment
- Administrative responsibilities
Job Salary range: $21.50-$23.50/hour
The artist’s assistant’s duties include, but are not limited to, the following. Coordinate with on-camera talent by making sure they are on time and ready for success going into photo shoots. Through model recruitment and outreach, represent the artist’s values while scouting for new talent who are an excellent fit for projects. Studio and set preparation includes placement and storing of lights, stands, and related equipment, as well as assisting in the construction of sets and props.
Administrative responsibilities can include dealer listings, advertisements for both model recruitment and sales, and other activities consistent with the assistant’s areas of skill.
